Shreyas is an illustrator-designer from Chennai, India, who is curious about the ways visual culture and gender intersect. Her non-fiction work is rooted in research, and takes on the form of comics, zines, and documentary drawings.
Shreyas was trained in graphic design at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, and Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and holds an MFA in Illustration Practice from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore. She founded and co-organizes Bad Drawing Club, and is an Assistant Professor at Washington University in St.Louis.
